Thomas Watson (c. 1620–1686) was an English Puritan pastor and theologian best known for his clear, practical, and deeply devotional writings, including A Body of Divinity, The Doctrine of Repentance, and The Godly Man’s Picture. Through his faithful exposition of Scripture and his ability to apply biblical truth to everyday life, Watson became one of the most influential Puritan authors, and his works continue to strengthen Christians and shape Reformed theology around the world today.

Charles Spurgeon (1834–1892) was a renowned English Baptist preacher known as the “Prince of Preachers,” whose powerful sermons drew thousands of listeners and were published around the world.
